Always on the right track
Less administrative jargon – more comprehensibility. Our content team supported the Brandenburg State Road Administration in their website relaunch with new texts and a simplified content structure.
The Brandenburg State Road Administration plans, builds and operates the road network in the state of Brandenburg which is located beside Berlin. In addition, providing information is an important part of its mission. The target groups range from citizens to construction planning and architecture offices, to companies, authorities and media representatives.
User-centeredness was therefore at the forefront of the content project. In joint workshops with the departments, the new, simplified user structure was designed to guide the various target groups to the relevant information as quickly as possible. Away from an organigram-like department sorting to a structure that shows at first glance what the organisation does.
In weekly editorial conferences, the organisation's specialist groups were invited in turn, adaptation requirements were discussed, and many questions were asked and answered. Our content team brought about 250 pages of the old website to the right mix of specialist information and generally understandable language.
Via our proven ticket workflow, no page could be forgotten and the project progress was transparent for everyone. It was also convenient for our content management partner SIX – Open Systems, because the tickets were linked to the content hub for implementation.
