It all began at the headquarters in Essen. A personal photo shoot with Katharina Rath, then Head of HR, was on the agenda. The chemistry was great, as were the photos - and so it turned into something more: an entire employer branding campaign that was to take us to three continents.
As a global player in a growth industry, DB Schenker is constantly on the lookout for personnel. For people who share the company's values and at the same time see DB Schenker as a place where they can live out their very own wishes and values.
The Group's global employer branding and recruiting campaign therefore focused on one question: "What matters to you?" In short clips, employees from a wide range of roles, hierarchical levels and locations answer this question. They talk about their tasks, successes and challenges and what they personally value about their job at DB Schenker.
We were commissioned to produce these video clips as well as additional photo material. The filming and shootings took place in Frankfurt/Main, Johannesburg and Singapore.
Our contribution included the complete video and photo production program:
- Conception of storyboards and interview questions
- Shooting, editing and post-production of interview videos, including subtitles, music, opening and closing credits
- Photo shoots and image editing
- Location checks, permits and transportation on site
Various formats have been and are being developed from the recordings, which are gradually being used in the corporate channels, including
- Editorial employee stories
- Portraits of various professions
- Explanatory films on individual logistics solutions
- Film trailer and photos for social media
Despite the heavy workload on site, the project was a great opportunity to delve even deeper into this extremely diverse global company. Our long-standing collaboration with the HR department at DB Schenker reached a new level. Always happy to do it again!
