The pages change

After almost 30 years, the largest German-language online architecture platform is getting a new logo - for a more umbrella brand and digital orientation in the Baunetz cosmos

When BauNetz completely reorganizes itself, it is also time for a new logo. One that can keep up with this dynamic.

It was not just about a website. It was about the entire BauNetz portfolio. Seven large, independent portals. From online magazine to job market to knowledge database. All are to be brought together under one domain - baunetz.de. This brings strong SEO advantages and very broad new marketing channels. Now it was really time to connect the portals - visually and functionally.

Really not easy. Because each portal has gone its own way over the years. This has good reasons and a system. Each with a strong visual language and target group focus. Each with a loyal user base and its own UX.

A challenge that many large sites and platforms face at some point. The only solution is to build bridges. So we needed an overall concept that would bring the various websites together. Recognizably independent and at the same time with charisma for the BauNetz brand.

1 cube with 7 sides

Our approach: a concept for logos, navigation and structure that intuitively links the portals and highlights synergies. We found the solution in an element that has stood for BauNetz for almost 30 years: the cube.

We have consistently developed this further. We have turned the static cube into the "Dynamic Cube". It is now much more than just a logo. It is the heart of the user experience and the common thread in the BauNetz portfolio.

The Dynamic Cube is a tool box. It opens the entire BauNetz cosmos with a single click and offers easy access to the individual portals. The new Action Bar also offers a customized range of quick access and portal-specific functions. Newsletter, login, search, CTAs etc. - all in one place and always in view.

Complex questions need complex solutions

This is exactly what the Dynamic Cube is: an intuitive user experience that positions BauNetz as a strong brand and at the same time leaves room for future growth. The Cube gives BauNetz a new look, a new brand logic and enables new ways of marketing.

PS: With the exception of Baunetz Maps, all the portals, in terms of concept and design, originate from our digital pen: www.baunetz-jobs.de(click here for the project documentation), www.baunetzwissen.de, www.baunetz-campus.de(click here for the project documentation), www.baunetz-id.de(click here for the project documentation), www.baunetz-architekten.de - and www.baunetz.de of course, with 16 years on the digital hump, the oldest site ever created by us that is still online.
