Stiftung Gedenkstätten Buchenwald und Mittelbau-Dora
The Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation, with its headquarters in Weimar, has the task of preserving the aforementioned memorials as places of mourning and remembrance of the crimes committed there, of organizing them in a scientifically justified manner, and of making them accessible to the public in a suitable manner, as well as of promoting education and upbringing by researching and communicating related historical processes. To this end, it organizes permanent and temporary exhibitions, scientific colloquia and cultural events, looks after visitors, carries out youth and research work and publishes scientific documentation and publications.
