Discussion and exhibition - Work of the future

The logo/sign of HENKELHIEDL and the logo of GE59 with the note "In cooperation with the Hans Böckler Foundation

Agile working, four-day week, pay gap, new work, home office, work-life balance, AI, sustainability, transformation, social justice, technological change ... who, pray tell, doesn't have their head spinning? Lots of great topics for a discussion round with an accompanying exhibition. An invitation.

What is important for whom and how? How do we talk about the work of the future? Who can shape it? We are also asking ourselves these questions at HENKELHIEDL , including publicly at a very special event in mid-July.

"Work of the future - what moves us and what connects us."
Discussion & exhibition

In addition to a lot of theory, there is also a practical part, which is why we are organizing this event in cooperation with GE59, our so-called "Art-Work-Space". How fitting. Because we will be discussing the topic of "work", but also showing "art". We asked nine illustrators how they envision the working world of the future. We are looking forward to seeing works by Felix Bork, Yves Haltner, Sebastian Lörscher, Sophie Meyerhoff, Jo Rüßmann, Hannah Kristin Schrage, Jill Senft, Julia Krusch and Shiwen Sven Wang. They are all showing their work on the theme.

About Lisa Basten:

The "Work of the Future" research center bundles the research findings of the Hans Böckler Foundation on the topic of work of the future and initiates dialogue between science and society, think tanks, trade unions and politics. It deals with digital and socio-ecological transformation processes and their impact on the world of work. The Hans Böckler Foundation always focuses on the question of how these processes can be shaped fairly and in the interests of working people. More information at www.arbeit-der-zukunft.de.

Lisa Basten and her team are also organizing LABOR.A®, a hybrid platform conference on the "Work of the Future", which will take place under the motto "Fill the Gap" on 19 September 2024 at Café Moskau und digital.
